PolymerFEM New Features
2020-02-28: We are excited to announce the release of version 6.1.0 of MCalibration and PolyUMod. This version is available for download right now.
PolyUMod Improvements
Supported Platforms:
- Abaqus: 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018
- Ansys: 2021R1, 2020R2, 2020R1
- LS-DYNA: R11.2
- Altair Radiossโข: 2020
- MSC.Marc: 2020
- COMSOL Multiphysics
Improvements:
Significant run time improvement when running PolyUMod with Abaqus on Windows computers. Some FE simulations that use PolyUMod will now run 2X faster!
- The name of the license server can now also be specified by the environmental variable โRLM_LICENSEโ
MCalibration New Features

All Abaqus hyperelastic models (except Marlow) with Mullins damage are now supported by the MCalibration internal solver.

All Abaqus hyperelastic models (except Marlow) with linear viscoelasticity are now supported by the MCalibration internal solver.

The Abaqus LVE model has 2 additional parameters: sum_g and sum_k
g1 = real_g1 * sum_g / sum(rel_gi)
Here: g1 = 0.3 * 0.5 / (0.3+0.3+0.3) = 0.167
All Abaqus hyperelastic models (except Marlow) with linear viscoelasticity and Mullins are now (preliminary) supported by the MCalibration internal solver.

Additional MCalibration Improvements
- Better error messages when running a load case that fails when using the Abaqus solver.
- Improved the parameter bounds in the Ansys Bergstrom-Boyce (BB) model.
- Significantly improved the initial guess of material parameters for the Abaqus linear viscoelastic model when DMA data is available.
- Now correctly uses the anisotropic solver when using the Abaqus elastic-plastic-Hill (Potential) material model template.
- Improved the internal implementation of the Ansys MISO model.
- Improved the internal implementation of the Ansys MISO Creep model.
- Many minor bug fixes.
