Introduction - Material Model for PVDF

Here is a calibrated material model for a Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) tested at room temperature.

PVDF is a thermoplastic fluoropolymer polymerized from vinylidene difluoride. Common trade names for this polymer is: Solef, Kynar, Hylar, and KF.

To use this material model you will need to first install the MCalibration software, and then export the model to your favorite FE software. The calibrated material model is the PolyUMod Three Network (TN) model.
