Introduction - Material Model for Nylon
Here is a calibrated material model for a Nylon 66 material tested at room temperature.
Nylon 6 and Nylon 66 are the most commonly used nylon resins. They are commonly used in mechanical applications where high mechanical strength and heat resistance are required.
To use this material model you will need to first install the MCalibration software, and then export the model to your favorite FE software. The calibrated material model is the PolyUMod Three Network (TN) model.
