  • How to simulate Torsional rheometer experiment for Viscoelastic material in ANSYS?

    Hello, I am new to Viscoelastic modelling. I currently have torsional rheometer(DMA) results say from 0 to 50 Hz for -40 to 110C for a particular viscoelastic material and for 0.01 strain amplitude. I have also done mastering and extracted fitted Prony data. Hence I can input TB data of Freq, E' and E" in ANSYS.

    My question is how can I simulate this in ANSYS so that I can study Stresses or Strains in my Specimen. Should I do a Harmonic/Transient Analysis? How can I consider this 0.01 Strain Amplitude in my simulation?

    You can use a linear viscoelastic model in ANSYS for both harmonic and transient analyses.
