PolymerFEM offers the PolyUMod® library of user-material models for general purpose finite element modeling of virtually all polymer systems, including thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers, foams, filled plastics, and biomaterials. The PolyUMod material model library can be used with COMSOL Multiphysics in the same way as any of the built-in material models. PolymerFEM also offers MCalibration®, a material model calibration application that enables semi-automatic extraction of pertinent material parameters from experimental data for many material models available in COMSOL Multiphysics and the PolyUMod library.

PolymerFEM is part of the Altair Partner Alliance. PolymerFEM offers the PolyUMod® library of user-material models for Altair Radioss™. The PolyUMod library contains general purpose material models for virtually all polymers, including thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers, foams, filled plastics, and biomaterials. PolymerFEM also provides the MCalibration® application that can be used to quickly and accurately calibrate all material models in the PolyUMod library, and some native material models in Radioss. See our Altair page for
more info.

PolymerFEM is a software partner with ANSYS. PolymerFEM offers the PolyUMod® library of user-material models (UMATs/VUMATs) for general purpose finite element modeling of virtually all polymer systems, including thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers, foams, filled plastics, and biomaterials. The PolyUMod material model library operates with ANSYS identically to those models provided with the ANSYS package. PolymerFEM also offers MCalibration®, an optimization application that enables semi-automatic extraction of pertinent material parameters from experimental data for all material models available in ANSYS and the PolyUMod library.

ANSYS, Inc., founded in 1970, develops and globally markets engineering simulation software and technologies widely used by engineers, designers, researchers, and students across a broad spectrum of industries and academia. The company focuses on the development of open and flexible solutions that enable users to analyze designs directly on the desktop, providing a common platform for fast, efficient, and cost-conscious product development, from design concept to final-stage testing and validation. The company and its global network of channel partners provide sales, support, and training for customers. Visit www.ansys.com for more information.

PolymerFEM is a software partner with Dassault Systèmes/SIMULIA and its Abaqus nonlinear finite element product suite. PolymerFEM offers concentrated expertise in the modeling of complex nonlinear, rate- and temperature-dependent materials, encompassing the effects of anisotropy and history, including the development of damage.

PolymerFEM offers the PolyUMod® library of user-material models (UMATs/VUMATs) for general purpose finite element modeling of virtually all polymer systems, including thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers, foams, filled plastics, and biomaterials. The PolyUMod library provides the Abaqus user advanced material models as if they were built into the Abaqus Standard and Explicit solvers. Engineers can perform very accurate FE simulations without the need for advanced expertise in material model software development. PolymerFEM also offers MCalibration®, an optimization application that enables semi-automatic extraction of pertinent material parameters from experimental data for all material models available in Abaqus and the PolyUMod library.

PolymerFEM is a software community partner with MSC Software, one of the ten original software companies in multidiscipline simulation. MSC Software helps companies improve quality, save time, and reduce costs associated with the design and testing of manufactured products. Their software accurately and reliably predicts how products will behave in the real world to help engineers design more innovative products, quickly and cost-effectively.

MSC Software’s technology is used by leading manufacturers for linear and nonlinear finite element analysis (FEA), acoustics, fluid-structure interaction (FSI), multi-physics, optimization, fatigue and durability, multi-body dynamics, and control systems simulation. Customers in almost every part of manufacturing use their software to complement, and in some cases even replace, the physical prototype “build and test” process that has traditionally been used in product design. Academic institutions, researchers, and students employ MSC’s technology to expand individual knowledge as well as expand the horizon of simulation.

PolymerFEM offers the PolyUMod® library of user-material models for general purpose finite element modeling of virtually all polymer systems, including thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers, foams, filled plastics, and biomaterials. The PolyUMod material model library can be used with MSC.Marc in the same way as any of the built-in material models. PolymerFEM also offers MCalibration®, a material model calibration application that enables semi-automatic extraction of pertinent material parameters from experimental data for all material models available in MCS.Marc and the PolyUMod library.
