Hello,

I have shear relaxation test data at different temperatures. I constructed the master curve by shifting the curves to a reference one. Then, I got the material constants C1 and C2 using WLF shift function fitting. In order to use ABAQUS I have to provide C1,C2, and Tref for TRS option. The question is: Which relaxation test data I have to provide to ABAQUS? is it the shear relaxation data of the master curve or the shear relaxation data for the reference temperature only?.

Thanks

Dan

. . . I guess you need to provide the Prony Parameters of your master curve!?

Thanks Manfred,

I used the master curve data. The results look reasonable but still not quite sure which data I have to use. I have to dissipate my doubts completely.

Master Curve and PRONY Series

Hi Dan,

. . . did you apply the evaluation software build in ABAQUS in order to determine the PRONY series out of your Master Curve (data set)?

And if so what is the result?

But if you are at a loss at the moment I suggest to put your data set and attach it to the next post and I will see about it.

Manfred
