[Solved] Incorporating local fibre directions in VUMAT

Hi,

I am trying to replicate the Holzapfel-Gasser-Ogden Hyperelastic law from the ABAQUS material library, in the form of VUMAT. I am confused on how I can incorporate the local fibre directions at each material point (nblock), which can be unique for each of the material points. The aim is to be able to give different initial fibre directions at each material point and to update these fibre directions with the increasing degree of deformation. Any suggestion will be most appreciated.

I have implemented those equations too. There is really no trick, all you need is to specify the fiber orientations relative to the local coordinate system. You can specify the fiber orientations using directional vector components.
