Hi, Im making a research related to viscous heating of the PEEK, but Im really new on the polymer topic and when I went to ansys I really dont know how to introduce the parameters needed on the program. So far I have G,G as a function of Frecuency and Temperature. Im not sure if I must put something like the Prony series or something else to add some viscoelastic properties on the simulation. Any advice or book review will be appreciated.

If you specify a linear viscoelastic model (a Prony series), then you should be able to predict viscous heating.
Note that linear viscoelasticity will only be suitable if the strains are very small.

Thank you for your answer Dr. Jorgen,
Do you have an explicit example of how to calculate the prony series?
