Hi,

I have been testing a 3D printed Polymer and it seems to be stronger in Tension than Compression. This could be due to the porous nature of the microstructure. Unfortunately the Drucker Prager material model in Abaqus will only allow the compressive strength to be greater. Is there a isotropic, plasticity model that can account for a lower compressive strength?

Thanks for you help! 🙂

There are multiple PolyUMod material models that can do that.
