Dears,

I am getting an error message (User-Material Model License Error: Could not check out 'polyumod-abaqus' license) while submitting the job on Abaqus 2021. Attached is the error message screenshot. I do not know what is the problem from. Please help.

PolyUMod is provided with a floating network license, and the error message that you provided seems to indicate that you Abaqus FE simulation is trying to use more PolyUMod license tokens than you have available. Can you try to run the FE simulation again, but this time just use one CPU?

You can use as many CPUs as you have PolyUMod license tokens.

PolyUMod takes one license token per CPU that is used.

The way to specify the number of CPUs to use is different for each FE solver. Just read your FE Solver Manual to find out how.

@jorgen Sorry to bother you again. I followed your suggestion, but it failed. I set 4 cores in dyna. But it takes only 1 core in PolyUMod. Where is the mistake?
