Hi Dr. Jorgen

I'm using PolyUMod Library in my Abaqus analysis. As the Silberstein-Boyce Model has a unusually strong dependence on the moisture level, how can I define the humidity informations in the model?(Abaqus does not provide pre-defined humidity setting) If I define a user field, what variable name should I use for the humidity?

thank you

You can use a user-defined field, just as you mentioned. This is exactly what I did when I implemented the Silberstein-Boyce models in PolyUMod.

Here is a screenshot from the PolyUMod User's Manual.

@jorgen Thanks for the reply. I've also noticed that it has been noted in chapter 20.1 of the PolyUMod User's Manual.

Note 1: The moisture concentration is specied through field variable 1.

@jorgen It seems that UFIELD subroutines cannot coexist with the modified dll file in Abaqus. I wonder whether I need to download the PolyUMod library in object-file format and compile together to a dll-file (for Windows).
