hello, i m using abaqus to model a viscoelastic structure. however, i m confused about the parameters . i chose time domain, relaxation test data. then i chose test data = shear test data.

in the test data editor i have to insert two values, gr(t) and time. can u please tell me how to get these data from the experimental relaxation test?

thank you .... i hv attached a picture here to clarify what i asked.

thank you

gr is the normalized relaxation modulus, and time is, well, just the time.

Dear sir,

There is one more thing in input option, long term normalized shear compliance or modulus. What does that mean and how to calculate that?

Its the final normalized shear relaxation modulus as time goes to inifinity. You can get it by extrapolation for shorter time data.
