I am trying to calibrate a rubber material using MCalibration. I have simple shear test results and converted the shear strains into engineering strains as illustrated by the MCalibration guide (picture attached).
I am interested in using the Yeoh hyperelastic material model and the bergstrom-boyce model. Once I have loaded the experimental data in the software and specified that it is a simple shear loading type.
I get the error attached.
So then I've considered only the positive curve of the experimental data, but it seems that the software is not able to find a solution.
Is there anyone who had the same issue?
You just discovered a bug! Thanks for letting us know. I have already fixed the problem, and we will release a new version in the next few days.
