Hi

I am modeling the arterial walls with their different layers (intima, media, and adventitia) based on the experimental data. I followed the same procedure explained the youtube channel of MClibration (All about the Holzapfel-Gasser-Ogden model) and export the data suitable for Ansys structural. However, once I allocate the material of different layers in Ansys Structural based on the MCalibration data, I do not sure how I should allocate a coordinate system (probably Cylindrical) to the problem. (as the experimental data is only for longitudinal and circumferential directions and no data for radial direction.)

There is no such tutorial on your website for allocating material properties in different directions in a Cylindrical coordinate system.

Thanks in advance

Navid

Hi Navid

I am doing the same thing as what you are doing. Do you have a social media account that I can add to have a discussion with you?

Best regards,

Karamay
