Dear friends

I am trying to model mooney revilin model for artery wall in ANSYS .I plan to use 3 parameter model.Material constants C01, C10, C11 and incompressibility parameter D1 have been taken from literature. My question is: should I provide any other properties like Youngs modulus, poisson ratio, density etc to the artery wall model other than Mooney Revilin material constants? or Is it sufficient to describe only mooney revilin constants?

Thank you for your kind reply

Regards

Govind

All you need are the Mooney parameters, which, of course, are related to the common elastic constants such as Youngs modulus, etc.

Dear Dr Jorgen

I have set only the Mooney parameters for the arterial wall in the ANSYS structural analysis. I didnt fix the density of the wall. But I found that density is one of the factors to setup in the ANSYS.

Kindly suggesst me if I am wrong.

Thank you
