shape factor effect

Hi Jorgen,
Considering that the material constants of the Hyperfoam model are shape factor independent, do you think Abaqus can predict different pressure-strain responses for polyurethane foam pads of different sizes or shape factors.

Yes, absolutely! As long as you provide the correct geometry and an accurate material model.

Is there any way to mathematically predict the stress-strain response of elastomeric foam pads of different sizes if using ogden-Hill hyperfoam model in excel.Â

I'm not sure how accurate that would be. I recommend using MCalibration, and if needed using an inverse FE simulation to drive the calibration.
