Dear Dr. Bergstrom,

Would you please let me know which material model (UMAT) is suitable for simulation of soft polypropylene include fracture and unloading effect in LS-DYNA?

Best Regards

Hamid

Are you interested in using one of the builtin material models in LS-DYNA or one of the UMAT subroutines that I have developed? Of my subroutines, the PNM is an excellent candidate.

Thank you very much for your replication.

Where I can find more information about PNM and which test should be carry out to make input file?

A brief summary is presented on the page that I linked to.

I recommend that you perform uniaxial tension experiments at different strain rates and temperatures. I would perform both loading and unloading at a few different strain values as well.
