Seems strange to me that Abaqus is looking for cmd.exe
I have not seen that before.

Have you tried to type the command: cmd.exe
from the command window. Does it work?

Have you tried to add the directory in which cmd.exe is located to your search path?

Thank you Dr. Jorgon for your reply. I tried to give the cmd.exe PATH in the system variables, but somehow it did not work.

I will try to reinstall ABAQUS soon.

same problem but solved

you might just try to copy the cmd.exe to the abaqus.exe folder
