Hi every body

Triangle part is a analytical rigid body, including a reference point.
Displacement applied on the reference point and I want to get reaction force of this rigid body.
I can output RF of this reference point by reporting xy data.
But I cannot do it using Python script because its impossible to define a node set for a analytical body.

I have attempted to create a node set(only include the reference point) by edit inp file. But failed because this point doesnt contained in node list.
Is that possible to access the reference point and output RF using scripting?

Thanks!

Yes, absolutely. I have done that many times.

To me it seams that CAE is a bit confusing when it comes to reference points and node sets.
It is much clearer if you edit the inp-file directly.

You can create node set for the reference point, and then use that for the reaction force (RF) data.

Also, what is it that you are trying to simulate?
It looks interesting.

Thanks for your reply.
I am trying to simulate AFM tip indentation.

Sorry for my late reply, I was on vacation last week.
