dear all,

Currently i have a uhyper code which works fine in most cases. But during one analysis it always abort due to illegal floating point error. i tracked AJ in ABAQUS and found it jumps from reasonable number to some suspecious number in one interation. the value change is quite large. So i am asking if there is anyway i can control the maximum AJ change or the displacement within one iteration.

Thank you so much~~

You cannot directly control AJ, but you can perhaps make it work by reducing the max time increment size that the simulation is taking.
