Excessive deformation in flow forming process

I am doing explicit dynamic analysis of flow forming process which comprises of reducing hollow tube/solid cylinders outer diameter using one or more rigid rollers. In that I have fixed bottom nodes of the cylinder and roller is given feed and rotational velocity around the cylinder so that the roller travels a helical path around the workpiece.

I am getting excessive deformation of the workpiece. How to avoid that? Which is the best contact interaction to be used in this type of simulation?

I did not have time to run your inp-file 🙁

But in general, run it with little or no mass scaling. Also, I often get better convergence using a viscoelastic / viscoplastic material model that can damp energy.
