Element deletion for hyper-elastic materials damage
Most models for hyperelastic materials only describe the deformation but not damage. As such, finite element simulation of processes that involve damage such as impact loading on a hyperelastic membrane is not successful.
Any advice on how to include damage to achieve element deletion in a hyperelastic material? I am implementing a VUMAT of a modified Yeoh model and I want it to account for damage.
Thank you.
