Compression after impact evaluation

Dear All,

I am new at abaquas and trying to model Compression after impact behaviour of composites. I created two parts, one of them damaged and other one is not damaged. My aim is to find out the damaged samples residual stress after the compression. I applied pressure to the both samples.

I used static-general as step and I used engineering constant values for the material such as E1,E2,E3...

This is undamaged sample

Which values I need to consider to compare these samples residual strenght? Mises, max principal or S22? Or am I in right path for the compression after impact modeling?

Please help me.

You are asking a good question, but I cannot provide a good answer without significantly more information 🙁
