Hi All.
Great forum you guys have built!
Im using Abaqus (6.13) co-simulation and Im trying to model water flowing thru an elastomeric tube which gets pinched off by a wedge external to the tube (intended to shutoff flow). The co-simulation aborts the CFD model when the fluid is about to be completely pinched off within the tube by the wedge. I suspect its because the fluid would need to become two discrete meshes (since no volume exists between the pinched tube walls) and thats where the errors occur. Is there a way to let the fluid model be broken such that an initially continuous CFD mesh becomes two discrete CFD meshes?
Thanks!
-Dave
