I'm a co-author on the ANTEC 2021 presentation "Tensile Specimen Preparation Method Impacting Failure Behavior". In our study, Sean Teller of Veryst Engineering and I examined how the failure strain depends on the following specimen preparation method: (1) injection molding, (2) machining, (3), die cut, (4) water jet cut. The study was performed on a polycarbonate.Â
