Hello,

I have a question on the interpretation of certain test data.

Referring for example to ageing testing, I am required to provide a logarithmic chart of the results.

Samples have been aged for 24 months, and tested for ultimate stress at the virgin state, 1 , 2 , 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24 months.

The problem is evidently, what to do with the time origin. Should I simply exclude it (which I would rather not for a number of other reasons..)?

Is there an approved procedure to deal with this? Similar issues must be encontoured in creep / stress relaxation testing.

Many thanks
