Hi everyone,

I found shear modulus is given as:(see pic) in the wikipedia : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arruda-Boyce_model

and also, I found that shear modulus is the miu only in this book: http://solidmechanics.org/text/Chapter3_5/Chapter3_5.htm

I got confused. Can anyone explain it please?

Thanks

Different have implemented the Arruda-Boyce Eight-chain (EC) model slightly differently. In practice the different approaches, however, should give about the same shear modulus.

The difference between the different models is often caused the the specific implementation of the inverse Langevin function that is used.
