[Solved] Material Model for Silicone Rubber

Here is a calibrated material model for a generic silicone rubber tested at room temperature. To use this material model you will need to first install the MCalibration software, and then export the model to you favorite FE software. The calibrated material model is the PolyUMod Three Network (TN) model.

Note, you can get a free trial license to MCalibration and PolyUMod using the link on the main page.

Hi Mr.Jorgen,

I need material data of silicone rubber VQM SHa 55.But I couldnt fine anywhere.

What is shore the "POLYUMOD-Bergstrom-Boyce_Silicone_Rubber"?

Unfortunately that experimental data is a few year old, and I did not measure the Shore hardness value. Also, I don't have more of that material to test.

If you have samples of your specific silicone rubber then I can experimentally test if for you (for a fee..).
