Units and Approx Size for Nano-Polymers

Hi all!

Wishing you a good day!

Working in meters, centi meters and millis are easier. However, when I take my model towads nano-level in Abaqus, their is a limit of approx size beyond which it cant be modeled.

Case study: The problem begins - nano-polymer (4*4*4 nanaometers), Shear mod=500 Pascals, Pressure on top=980 Pascals, Material model chosen viscoelastic (gi, ki, tau provided). Now, how to model the cube nano-polymer of side 4 nano-meters in Abaqus!!! I just dont understand the word Normalizing and Scaling is! If any body can suggest the best possible way for the above problem. Units and approx size. (Means do I go for approx size 4 and then make a square 4*4 and then extrude to 4!!! Then what about units? ). (Maybe stupid question, 🙂 consider me the same )
