Hi,

I am using MCalibration software to calibrate the BB model for our elastomer. I have two sets of uniaxial compression test data with different strain rates for this purpose. The calibration, as I was expecting, depends on the initial values of constant. I have tried changing the parameters manually to get the prediction closer to the test data, however the software calibration does not give me a good fit for the manually manipulated initial values.

I would like to know if there is any rule of thumb for initial values for the uniaxial tests.

Thank you,

In my experience, MCalibration is very good at find the necessary parameter for the BB-model.

I am happy to share some rules of thumb about what the parameters typically are, but I think it might be even more useful if I could demonstrate the calibration procedure for you.
Can you post your two experimental data files?

Hello Jorgen,

I sent you an email a couple days ago and attached the data files. Let me know how they look!

Thank you,

Dear Hossein,

did you solve your issue? I have a similar problem. Would you please share with us how you solved it?
