hi all,

im going to simulate a set of dynamic testing results of an elastomer these days. specimen was compressed very slowly at first to get a pre-compression x0 then loaded sinusoidally with different frequency and amplitude with x0 being the equilibrium.

can anyone help me out that:

1. do i have to use dynamic explicit? or implicit is ok..

2. how can I control the loading speed of the first step? [step\maximum increment size] or [load\amplitude] ?

3. im gonna use Doc. Jorgens BB model to capture the final loop. but according to some paper, BB model is not that good to predict the amplitude dependence. so whats you guys suggestion please?

Thank you
