[Solved] B-B model calibration and experimental tests

Hello Dr Jorgen,

I am using the free version of Mcalibration to obtain the constants for B-B model. I have the tension test data at different train rates and also the relaxation test data.

If I input both in Mcalibration do I have to ensure that the relaxation test are done at the same strain rates(before holding at constant strain) as the tension tests. Also can the calibration be done without relaxation test data.

Hello Shouvik,

No, both the stress relaxation data does NOT have to be at the same strain rate as the tension tests. You can use any strain rate.
Yes, the calibration can be used without the relaxation test data if you have tension test data at more than one strain rate.
