    Torsion and contraction

    Dear all,

    I started to learn Biomechanics and Abaqus; so I am too beginner. I have to work on a rectangle to do torsion and contraction at the same time I have to do a torsion of 60degree around its axis and contraction with pressure on its surfaces,after working on moments and unwanted result I have this rotation of Rotational body force for 90 degree but I could not apply pressure at the same time on the side which is not fixed ,
    I appreciate any idea since I stuck in this problem,
    Thank you in advance,

    Saray

    To whom which has the same problem as me:
    For the first step you have to apply the moment with choosing a reference point near the node or surface you want to apply moment but not on it; cause abaqus dont accept moment on a continum surface, then make a new constraints in the left toolbar of abaqus window, make a kinematic coupling between this ref point and the node or surface you want to apply, so give the moment to ref point and its done!
    Good luck;
