    Question Modelling hyperelastic material

    Dear all,
I am trying to model a one-dimensional test case consisting of a hyperelastic material. I am writing a code in Matlab. I'm a bit lost on how to define the test case in terms of boundary conditions, initial conditions, etc and what results to expect to obtain. I would appreciate it if you could lead me in the right direction as soon as possible. I was thinking of a just having a beam fixed at one end and stretched at the other end. Would that be about right? What is expected to happen in this case, that is different to elastic materials?
    Best Regards,
    Mahsa

That sounds like an OK approach.
    Best of luck.
