installation of abaqus

i had successful install abaqus 6.10 and now i want running my analysis with using the subroutine.... may i know what fortran or visual studio should to installed.
my computer specification is dell - i7, 64bit, window7...

Hi,

By default Abaqus search for "ifort" compiler, but you can use others. There is a file named "abaqus_v6.env" located in the subdirectory "site" of your install directory of Abaqus, you can tweak this file to use "gfortran" compiler for instance.
