    PLAXIS, soft soil creep model

    I have a question about the Soft soil creep model in PLAXIS. In the material data base, we enter the basic and strength/compressibility properties of the soil layer. Could you please make it clear the cα (secondary compression coefficient) we enter, is for which stress level?
    I have to model an oedometer test in PLAXIS (which I would have already done!), in which, I allow secondary compression under each load increment. How can I model this in PLAXIS?

    I am not too familiar with PLAXIS.
    Perhaps someone else has some comments?

    @Dhanya,
    Have you took a look i Plaxis manual for ss creep model? I think there is some explanation regarding the model itself.
    As for C_a, I think you should know that consolidation has three pars, momentarily settlement, consolidation itself, and secondary consolidation aka. creep, so C_a would be the slope of the consolidation curve in that part.
    I hope it helps.
