Thread: Experimental Data for Elastomers

  1. #11
    Sir,
Thank you again for replying to my queries, i am afraid it is not possible for me to perform any experiments.
I am performing experiments and numerical models to simulate the inner layers of the earth. For the experiments i am using PDMS.Since the data is not available for PDMS ,please let me know whether you have the data for any Maxwell Viscoelastic material

I have experimental data that I can share for a few different elastomeric materials. You can explore and download these data sets from the following page.

Can you explain how you define a "Maxwell viscoelastic material"?

    Dr. Bergstrom,

I believe that thie link to Materials and Model Pages is broken.

For my thesis I need an input in the Ansys library. I need this input for the following materials:
NBR, FKM, EPDM, CR and PTFE. I have seached on the website, but the link with the library is broken.
You will help me very much when this data is available. Can you please watch for me of the data is available
and can you restore the link? Thanks in advance for you're help!

    Kind regards,

    Hello,

I'm in need for experimental data of rubber tested with different starin rates. I already found the data in the experimental data section of this site.
I am furthermore looking for data of tension and/or shear experiments in time/stress/strain tables. The type of rubber is not that important, though. Nice would be large deforations so that the non-liniarities show.
    Best regards,
    Lutz

Hello and thanks for this forum. I was looking at the three sets of experimental data you have provided for nitrile rubber. Can you please tell me the test type and temperature for each set? Thanks very much for the data.
