question of Chip formation in metal cutting

    Hi!
I am student of MsC in Civil Engineering, I'm a new user of ABAQUS,and i am interesting in know the problem of chip formation in cutting, and I would ask a favor for everyone, I have problems with my model they donīt get that all elements untie from the mesh in spite of it being very distorted, so the chip does not get up by the face of the tool, I'm using the Johnson-Cook law, the criterion of RATE DEPENDENT, TYPE = JOHNSON-COOK and SHEAR FAILURE, JOHNSON-COOK TYPE = ELEMENT DELETION = YES.

I send the input file (.zip) and a picture of my problem

    Thanks.

    Carlos
