What happens if you try to install it without the -replay option?

    thanks Jorgen,
it gives the information as below, beacuse the centos 4.7 not support the graphic card FX 4600, so the X-window is not selected in installing phase,
if it is selected to install, after reboot, the screen will black at all, nothing can be seem.

    /media/usbdisk/setup -nosystemcheck

In order to run the installation GUIs, the environment variable
DISPLAY must be set. Please set DISPLAY as desired and run this
    setup script again.

    Hi,Jorgen
If I install X-window, it still not work, the same problem occured, And I try many other linux, such as Redhat Entiprise 5.4, centos 4.4 and so on, the same problem !
Is it the possible that the abaqus install ISO file is corrupt or some file is missing? I remember that it worked well using optical Disk of abaqus.

I guess you are runing this installation remotely, it seems you didn't setup a X-window well. Can you try to open "firefox" to see if your X-window is working. If not, then that is the problem of X-window, you need to start it first before you start installaiton.

Are you running it as root?

Identical problem has been reported here

yes, I am running as root. finally I solve it just as this:

    cd /opt/install_dir
    /media/disk/ln86_64/product/UNIX/Disk1/InstData/NoVM/install.bin -f /opt/path_to_installer.properties -i silent

    it works!!
