Plz any one who knows the method of linking Abaqus with Fortran, help me. I need urgent help to start my project.

Dear All,

I have a question regarding viscoelastic materials. I am trying to model a device which has polymeric layers in it. With Modal analysis model in ANSYS Workbench, the resonance of the device is larger if the shear modulus is considered in the simulation. Does anybody know why resonance would increase once this term along with the relaxation time are included? I would have thought it would have the opposite effect.
I get this effect after adding the following material parameter in the command object for viscoelastic material:

tb,prony,MATID,1,1,shear
tbdata,1,0.5,100
