hi,

I have a question with regards to the input data for visoelastic materials.
all I want to know is that; are "normalized relaxation" data, which are used as the input to define viscoelasticity, the same thing as "reduced relaxation function" ? I have a curve of reduced relaxation function and I want to know if I can use them as the input to define viscoelasticity.

thanks in advance,

I would claim that neither "normalized relaxation data" nor "reduced relaxation function" are well-defined engineering terms. However, my guess is that they are indeed referring to the same thing. So you should probably be able to use the data you have to define the viscoelastic response.
