Dear all,
I am currently working in a drop test simulation project where we use Expanded PolyStyrene and Polyethylene foams as packaging materials. I am comparing the results of existing crushable foam models in Abaqus to those of experiments. In next step, I would like to write a UMAT or VMAT for crushable foams. I have got the Int. to Computational Plasticity book by Dunne and Petrinic where finite elements implementation of porous plasticity and some UMATs are presented. I would like to know if it is somehow possible to have the UMAT (fortran file) for the existing porous elasticity, porous plasticity and crushable foam model used in Abaqus, there are some UMATs in the documentation of Abaqus, but I could not find any of my interest. I appreciate if someone can help me how to find them. Thanks in advance.

All Fortran code that is used for the built-in material models in ABAQUS are the intellectual property of Simula (Dassault Systèmes). This means that you will not be able to find any code examples from ABAQUS. Hence, you will need to write your code from scratch, or find someone to write it for you...
