How can I simulate in Ansys the action to join two elements? And how can I simulate support an element on other one with his weight? I am sorry if my English is not very good. I hope that the question is understood. Thank you very much in advance. Best regards.
The traditional way to joining two elements is to have them share nodes. If that is not an option in your case, then you can tie the nodes together.
I don't quite understand your question about weight.

I am sorry for my ignorance. I have read in some books that the only thing that I have to do is to share nodes but, how can I share nodes? Simply moving the objects? Or when I mesh the object? Do I obtain the same effect with the action operate-booleans-add-volumes?
The other question is that I want to simulate weight applying a vertical acceleration of 9.81 m/s^2 multiplied by the mass with the ACCEL command. Can I make it with Main Menu>Preprocessor>LS-DYNA Options>Loading Options>Acceleration CS>Set Accel CS?
Thank you very much for your interest.

Which is the effect of Main Menu> Preprocessor> Modeling> Operate> Booleans> Glue> Volumes? Which is the difference withMain Menu> Preprocessor> Modeling> Operate> Booleans> Add> Volumes?
Well, there are two ways as far as I know:
1. Use constraint equations
2. Use gap elements
The first method would be easier..
