Modal analysis with gf-reinforced pa?

Hi!

I would like to know a little about FE-modal analysis on moulded gf-reinforced polymers. How accurate results can I receive from an analysis without the direction of fiber in my material model. What differs the modal analysis with polymer from a modal analysis with steel?

Are there any documentation on this topic, articles and books?

The model analysis technique is the same for the two types of materials. How accurate it will be for a fiber reinforced polymer will depend on the type of fibers used, the distribution of fibers, the coupling between the fibers and the polymer matrix.

If you reinforced material is anisotropic then you might want use an anisotropic model representation.

I am not sure about what literature there might be about this :?
