Hi all,
I am new to this forum. I have recently started working on damage mechanics for adhesives. Just wondering what constituive model I can use for cured adhesives..
cheers
Can you explain more about what you are looking for:
- What models have you considered so far?
- Are you interested in a micromechanical model or a phenomenological model?
- Are you interested in the cohesive or adhesive damage?
- Do you want the constitutive model to capture damage or is that separate?

Hello Jorgen,
Thanks so much for your reply. I will answer your questions one by one
- What models....?
I am working in fatigue area , so any model used in static doesnt do much of my work , however, i have used lemaitre model for with certain experimental results
Phenomenological or micromechanicsl??
-Now I am interested in getting the values for the local stiffness reduction (eg: modulus ),
Costitutive model???
I have experimetnal results for fracture mechanics and damage mechanics which explain the fatigue constitutive behavior
Thanks a ton in advance
Vikram
