Hi,
I have used Polyurethane to coat a brittle compund to avoid it from
breaking. I also wanted the material to be uniformly encapsulated in
Polyurethane without any bubbles inside. It is getting almost
impossible to avoid bubbles. The bubbles keep forming after coating. Is this problem related to the usage of the hardner/ is there any other way to reduce the bubbles. The mixing ratio of resin and hardner is 10:4 respectively. The solution turns milky white as soon as I mix the resin and hardner. Does this color mean anything??
Any information would be of great help!

Regards,
Devin

Bubble formation i polyurethane (PU) is a common problem. I recommend that you work on your mixing procedure and the application of the PU to the brittle compound. I assume that you should be able to apply the PU without any significant bubbles. I don't think the white color is significant for the problem.
