Thermoplastic creep test

Hi,

I would like to know what are typical creep test durations. I understand that this may vary from material to material and its application. I am sure their must be applications wherein the thermoplastic is loaded for months and creep test for such a long duration may not be practical in most cases.

The material I am dealing with is PEEK and the manufacturer's data sheet say that it offers very low creep deformation.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I often run creep tests that are either a few hours long (using one of our standard test machines), or a few weeks long (using our creep bending setup).
