Usermat test problem not converging

Hi!

I am going to implement the Tresca modell in Ansys using the usermat-function.

The provided files "USERMAT.F" and "usermat3d.F" are compiled with no problems,
and I use the ANSYS Product Launcher to start the new ANSYS.exe file.

However, when I try to run the provided test problem in the ANSYS USERMAT guide (Tension of 3D-block elements) the user defined method is not converging.

What may I do wrong?

Let me see if I understand. Does ANSYS provide a USERMAT.F file for the Tresca model?
(I don't recall what the provided usermat examples are for).

Or, did you write the function?

The error you mentioned sounds like a bug in the usermat function.
