SUBROUTINE FRIC

I have a question regarding the use of FRIC subroutine in ABAQUS. Has anyone tried to define a slip dependent friction? That means friction angle is a function of the non-recoverable slip between two bodies? Can this be done with the subroutine? I would appreciate any comments.

I have not written a FRIC subroutine, but it should be possible to accomplish exactly what you are interested in. The total slip distance is made available to the subroutine through the variable SLIP. In fact, I suspect that it should not be too difficult to write the subroutine.
