saludos!

Hmm, I am afraid that I don't understand Spanish. Perhaps someone else, who understands, can respond :?:

Hi I'm from Argentina and my name is Andres.

I am a student of mechanical engineering and working in a factory cart part of chaucho (bushings, engine mounts, etc)

In the factory we have the SolidWorks software - COSMOSWorks the most complete, with non-linear analysis, and have all machines necessary evidence to test the materials (tensile, compression, tearing, etc.)

My issue is that I want to be able to perform tests MEF (finite element method), loading the materials we develop.
COSMOSWorks software for it has 3 types of materials hiperelasticos Mooney, odyen, kasblato.

which do you recommend?

forgiveness for my English!!!

Andres

The SolidWorks software is good software. The most approapriate material model will depend on what material you are interested in analyzing. Hyperelastic material are most useful for rubber materials.

Hello Jorgen, yes of course the Hyperelastic material are most useful for rubber materials, but which of these is the best:

1 Mooney Rivlin

2 Ogden

3 Blatz ko

and tests that need to introduce the material ???

Thank you !

I am not a huge fan of the Mooney-Rivlin model. I kind of like the Ogden model, but my favorites are the neo-Hookan, the Eight-chain model, and the Yeoh model.

I think it is also worthwhile to point out the "best" model will depend on the specific material.
